Somatic Integration and Yoga Nidra

Somatic Integration and Yoga Nidra
These individualized Somatic Integration and Yoga Nidra Sessions offer a space to slow down, reconnect inwardly, and support the body and mind in moving out of patterns of stress and activation. This work may be especially supportive during times of overwhelm, burnout, emotional reactivity, chronic tension, or simply when you are longing for deeper rest and connection within yourself.
A Separate Offering:
Somatic Integration and Yoga Nidra is a private-pay offering separate from psychotherapy. These sessions focus on somatic awareness, deep rest, and nervous system regulation and are not intended to diagnose or treat a mental health or medical condition or to provide psychotherapy.
Yoga Nidra is a guided meditation practice rooted in deep rest and nervous system regulation. Combined with a trauma-conscious, somatic approach and informed by over twenty years of clinical experience, these sessions support greater self-awareness, connection with the body, nervous system regulation, and the ability to listen more closely to what is happening within. Sessions may also include intention setting, somatic inquiry, mindfulness, breath awareness, gentle movement, and reflection. Rather than forcing change, this work invites awareness, curiosity, and compassionate listening.
This Work May Support:
• Nervous system regulation
• Stress and overwhelm
• Greater body awareness and connection
• Deep rest
• Mindfulness and self-awareness
• Intention and reflection
• Greater inner steadiness and self-trust
What to Expect:
Each session offers time to arrive, settle in, and notice what feels present for you. We may explore an intention or area of focus before moving into a personalized guided practice. Much of the session takes place while resting comfortably, with no yoga postures or physical ability required. The practice creates space for the body to soften out of activation and move toward greater rest and regulation.
Following the practice, there is time for reflection and integration. Thoughts, emotions, sensations, memories, or insights may naturally arise and can be acknowledged with curiosity without needing to analyze, change, or resolve them. Every session is individualized and unfolds at a pace that honors your experience.
These sessions may be experienced as a one-time experience, as ongoing support, or as an occasional complement to psychotherapy. You do not need to be in therapy or be a psychotherapy client of mine to participate.
